What will the new uniforms for the club
look like?
ANSWER

CLOSE
For the Evergreen
players this is the year when uniforms were due to be replaced as part of the
three year cycle that the club was on. Nike is one of Rush’s national sponsors.
The Nike uniforms are unique and designed specifically for Rush by Nike and
include the Rush logo. The women’s Nike kit can be viewed at
www.rushsoccer.com under uniforms. The men’s
Nike kit is being finalized and can be viewed at the same link once the style is
completed. The 2010-2011 U18 Evergreen teams will be allowed to continue
utilizing their Adidas uniforms for the 2010-2011 soccer season unless the team

1)
How will this change affect my child and team?
ANSWER

CLOSE
The teams will be formed through the traditional tryout process that has been
used in the past. Coaching assignments will be announced in advance of tryouts
by the Technical Director. The high school age boys (U16-U18) tryouts will be
held beginning March 12th in accordance with Washington Youth Soccer’s tryout
schedule. The balance of the tryouts for the other age groups will be held after
their state cup finals have been completed. Tryout dates, times and online
registration will be posted on the website and brochures will be mailed to each

1)
What benefit will the players and coaches gain from this change?
ANSWER

CLOSE
It will allow for a larger player and volunteer base, as well as, the opportunity to be part of the Rush National Organization, which offers opportunities to club members to participate in national level tournaments as guest players or as a team. The number of Rush players countrywide is 34,000 and growing. Rush has national sponsors that are beneficial for all the Rush Clubs. In addition, Rush has clubs in Africa and partnerships in Europe, which will allow for Rush players in the US to play overseas. They also have a multitude of resources which are available for every Rush Club. Their brand is recognized nationwide and internationally. The players will have the opportunity to participate in the Player Development League (PDL) as well as to train with a larger group of highly experienced and qualified coaches/goalkeepers that will make up the coaching staff of the club. The PDL will afford them the chance to develop in “like versus like” competition. The PDL player pass will allow for movement between teams to maximize the development of soccer skills and allow every player the opportunity to play at their highest potential.

1)
Why will the automated payment system be
used?
ANSWER

CLOSE
This system may be new to some members of the club. The larger club size requires that it be run efficiently and this system allows us to keep the club’s cost low and still provide a quality program. The benefits to changing the payment method include: expedited registrations, reduced processing time, accurate accounting and improved record keeping for our club.
